“Purple Daydream” nail polish by Quo by Orly is a bold and in your face fuchsia shade. Quo is an exclusive brand for Shoppers Drugmart and these nail polishes retail for about $10-$12 each. I would say that this colour is pretty unique like many other colours in the Quo by Orly nailpolish line like “Turquoise Moonlight” (which is another colour I LOVE).
Each coat of nailpolish itself goes on pretty thin. But with about 2-3 coats, the colour is very vivid and pretty. It comes with a good sized brush so it’s easy to apply and the formula is great so it goes on very smoothly.
The packaging of the nailpolish is very nice. The handle of the applicator is rubberized assuring you get a good grip. The bottle itself is a rectangular shape and it holds 14mL. The nailpolish comes with a little metal ball inside so when you shake it up it’ll mix better, and you get more shelf life out of this product.
“Purple Daydream” however is definitely not anything close to a purple. The colour has no glitter in it and has a somewhat glossy finish. This is a great colour and can be worn at all times of the day. You can amp up this colour with a glitter coat or keep it wearable with just a clear top coat. If you don’t like nails that standout however this is not the colour for you.
Overall I think this a really pretty colour and I love it.
